Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA)

The facility houses a state of the art Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) instrument: ZetaView® x30, Next Generation Nanoparticle Tracking Analyzer from Particle Matrix.

NTA is a universal tool for measuring and counting nanoparticles.

The analytical features of the ZetaView QUATT system:

  • Rapid analysis; typically 10-15 minutes
  • Ability to analyze samples of various chemical nature (nanoparticles, exosomes, liposomes et c.)
  • Ability to measure zeta potential
  • Ability to track particles and measure their size at the level of single particles by light scattering and fluorescence
  • Ability to use four lasers: 405, 488, 520 and 640nm that are accessible without any hardware manipulations
  • Capability to co-localize the fluorescence signal with scattering signal to identify the exact subpopulation that carries the fluorescent label at a single particle level

Key applications for ZetaView® x30

Bio-nanoparticles:

  • Extracellular Vesicles (EVs)
  • Exosomes
  • Liposomes & Micelles
  • Protein Agglomerates
  • Viruses & Virus-Like-Particles (VLPs)
  • Drug Delivery
  • Fluorescent-labelled NPs
