Jennifer Miao, MD

Jennifer Miao, MD, is a cardiology/critical care fellow in the Section of PCCM. Miao trained as a classical pianist with a Major in Music, concentrating on Piano Performance, and also studied English Literature with a focus on literary criticism before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. She completed medical school and residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and then cardiology fellowship at Yale. Her research areas of interest include cardiogenic shock, telemedicine and cardiovascular care. At Yale, Miao was a Chief Cardiology Fellow, and currently a medical writer for ABC News.
