Several clinical and research conference seminars are offered at Yale-New Haven Medical Center and many of the affiliated hospitals each week.

• Summer lecture series: High-yield overview of frequently encountered Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine topics, focused on acute management and geared towards incoming fellows. Wednesday afternoons in the summer.
• MICU noon Teaching Rounds: Daily teaching rounds with MICU-related topics and case presentations geared toward Internal Medicine housestaff education, directed by MICU fellows.
• Critical Care board review: Board style question-based board review sessions. Tuesday mornings in Spring, in preparation for Critical Care boards.

• Pulmonary Medicine Thursday Conference: Designed to cover all Pulmonary Medicine core topics following a rotating two-year curriculum, geared toward fellow education, attended by expert subspecialty faculty. Follows a structure consistent with the APCCMPD curriculum.
• Pulmonary Medicine board review: Board style question-based board review sessions. Friday afternoons in the fall, in preparation for Pulmonary Medicine boards.
• Journal Club Presentations: One hour review of the methodology and results of up-to-date publications in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. Once monthly (Monday or Thursday).

• State Chest Conference: Renowned national and international guests deliver presentations in various topics of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. Wednesday afternoons, Fall-Spring.

• Multidisciplinary case-based discussion and didactic teaching on challenging thoracic oncology and thoracic surgical cases attended by faculty and fellows in departments of pulmonary, oncology, cardiothoracic surgery, therapeutic radiation oncology, radiology, pathology and social work.

• Multidisciplinary case-based discussion and education led by ILD specialists, including in-depth review of cases with radiology and pathology.

• Sleep Medicine Conference: Weekly Sleep Grand Rounds conference reviewing topics in sleep physiology and sleep disorders.
• Internal Medicine Grand Rounds: Weekly Department of Internal Medicine conference by Yale faculty and invited speakers.

• Pulmonary Research Conference: Faculty and fellow research in progress presentations.
• Mentored-Research Conference: Junior faculty and fellows present ongoing research, grants, and manuscript preparations for feedback.
