• 00:05time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
• 00:07I'm Manisha Tony. I'm the ID
• 00:09fellowship program director at Yale.
• 00:11You have inspired all of us
• 00:13over the last several months.
• 00:15I was a Cornell medical student
• 00:17New York Hospital resident.
• 00:19So you've been a role model
• 00:20for me for 20 years,
• 00:22but particularly so in this time when
• 00:24I've seen you in the media and any of
• 00:27the opportunities I've had in the media,
• 00:30I thought about how you've
• 00:31always kept politics aside,
• 00:33focused on the science and public health,
• 00:35and taking care of people.
• 00:37And that's what we're all trying to do.
• 00:40So today we just want to say thank
• 00:42you from the ID fellowship program.
• 00:44Thank you for your message
• 00:46to our fellows Ann.
• 00:47I want to show you a little bit
• 00:49of the way that in this moment
• 00:51where we're trying to celebrate
• 00:53all the hard work our fellows did
• 00:55during this pandemic at Yale were
• 00:57having a socially distant safe,
• 00:59small graduation event.
