Community Breakfast

The Outreach Subcommittee partners with the New Haven Office of Affairs to present at their Community Breakfasts series. These events are hosted virtually or in person for New Haven community members who want to learn more about emerging research areas.

Starting in 2022, we began presenting at one Community Breakfast each semester. Previous topics covered include Allergic Disease, Type 1&2 Diabetes, Cancer Immunotherapy, and MHC & Autoimmunity.

Community Breakfast presenters come from a range of training backgrounds, from undergraduate students to postdoctoral fellows. As a group, the presenters design and lead engaging presentations to educate the community about the basics of immunology and share exciting research directions.
