Biography

Dr Tyagi is interested in translational biomedical research. He is exploring the molecular basis of platelet mediated events in various pathophysiological states including solid tumors. He has developed interest in platelet-T cell crosstalk mechanisms and recently identified a novel platelet dependent T cell regulatory mechanism.

He has studied human and rodent platelets and T cells using a range of methods. Besides this, he has also studied the intricacies of platelet biology in cardiovascular disorders. In past, for his PhD in Life Science, Dr Tyagi studied platelet proteome for its role in hypoxia induced thrombosis.
