Biography
Dr. Nickolas Srica was born and raised in New York. He completed his undergraduate degree in Health Science with a concentration in Emergency and Critical Care at Stony Brook University. He then received his medical degree from New York Medical College, graduating as a member of both Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS). He went on to complete his residency training in emergency medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN where he was selected Chief Resident, ultimately staying on as faculty and Assistant Residency Director prior to joining the emergency medicine education faculty at the Yale School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Associate Clerkship Director for the medical student EM clerkship at Yale and is involved in a number of committees and advisor roles for the EM residency program, where he also leads several educational initiatives for the residents. His professional interests include both graduate and undergraduate medical education, curriculum innovation, podcasting, and career mentorship. He enjoys golf, hiking, New York sports, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife Karly, their beautiful daughters Evelyn and Grace, and their beloved German Shepherd Luna.
