What is the purpose of this trial?
The INSPIRE study is funded by the CDC and the purpose of the INSPIRE Study is to learn about the long-term health effects of COVID-19. Yale researchers are studying people’s experience with the disease including their symptoms, medical care and health outcomes.
What is involved:
There are two things: one is that you will fill out surveys every 3 months for the next 18 months. The surveys take about 15 minutes to complete.
Second, you are required to share your health data with the study team through a safe digital health app called Hugo Health.
Do I receive anything in return:
For your participation, you will receive up to $100 in electronic gift cards. You will also receive reports about the study findings.
Do I have to come in for visits?
The study is entirely virtual – meaning you do not need to go anywhere or meet with anyone. The INSPIRE study team is great and they can call or email you to answer any questions and help you along the way, if needed.
