Yale Urology Sub-Internship Scholarship

Overview

Yale School of Medicine recognizes and values the contributions made by those of diverse backgrounds to the field of medicine. The Yale Urology Sub-Internship Scholarship is available to all who meet the eligibility criteria. We strongly encourage those with backgrounds that are under-represented in medicine to apply. For the academic year 2024, scholarships in the amount of $1,500 are available and will help to off-set the cost of visiting student application fees, travel, and lodging. Applications are due May 7, 2024.

Application process

If interested, there are three steps to apply for the scholarship:

  1. Submit your VSAS application
  2. Review eligibility to confirm you are eligible for the scholarship and then submit Yale’s Visiting Student Scholarship Program Application.

    1. Name, email address, Medical School, AAMC ID number
    2. Statement (150 words or fewer) explaining how you will use your unique identities and experiences in the world to create a positive impact on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field of medicine?
