Cassandra Cavallo

Cassie graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Psychological and Brain Sciences and a minor in Professional Science Writing. Her research background has focused on addiction, chronic pain, stress, psychophysiology, and digital health. At the Yale Stress Center, she is currently working on a clinical trial investigating the neurosteroid pregnenolone as a potential treatment for alcohol use disorder and examining its effects on drinking outcomes and related behavioral and neurobiological measures. Outside of work, Cassie enjoys traveling, thrifting, cooking, and trying new restaurants.
