Yomn Hammad

Yomn Hammad is an MD-PhD student from San Jose, California. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Bioengineering in 2025. As an undergraduate, she worked in Dr. Aaron Streets and Dr. Alex Marson's laboratories developing a droplet microfluidics platform and peptide-MHC vesicles to interrogate immune interactions in HIV, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. Post-grad Yomn worked in Dr. PJ Utz's lab at Stanford to determine how the lncRNA XIST could generate sex bias in autoimmune diseases.
