Stella Hayoung Park

Stella is an MD/PhD student from Seoul, Korea. She graduated from Columbia University in 2024 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. As an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant in the laboratory of Professor David Knowles at the New York Genome Center, where she studied RNA isoform diversity and developed isoform-specific functional predictions of RNA binding proteins. At Yale, Stella is interested in investigating the mechanisms of autoimmune diseases and exploring the field of immunology.

Outside of research, Stella enjoys boxing, running, and biking—and she loves discovering great food spots around town.
