Doris Yang

Doris is an MD-PhD student from Portland, Oregon. She graduated summa cum laude from Harvard with an AB/AM in Statistics and minor in Global Health & Health Policy. As an undergraduate, her research in Dr. Tianxi Cai's lab focused on representation learning from high-dimensional data, computable phenotyping using electronic health records, and genome-wide association studies. At Yale, she works in the CarDS lab to develop multimodal and mechanistically informed artificial intelligence methods for personalized cardiovascular medicine.
