Biography
Charlotta is an MD-PhD student from the Bay Area, California. She graduated from Fordham University’s Honors program with a double major in Chemistry and Philosophy and a minor in Biochemistry. At Fordham, she worked in the Banerjee Lab for three years using computational methods to develop biomaterials for drug delivery and tissue engineering. After graduating, she worked for two years as a Research Assistant in the Flynn Lab at Harvard and Boston Children’s Hospital studying cell surface glycosylated RNA (glycoRNA). Outside of lab, she enjoys slacklining, running, and listening to a concerning amount of audiobooks.
