New blog for families launched on Yale autism program website

January 26, 2024

The Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) Social and Affective Neuroscience of Autism (SANA) Program, also known as the SANA Lab, recently launched a new blog to provide current information and resources for parents, family members, and other caregivers of children with autism.

Monthly blog posts written by clinical and research faculty and staff will highlight the lab’s research, staff, and resources – including the most recent post focused on self-care strategies for parents. The information and resources shared are also intended for anyone in the general public who may have questions about autism.

The work of the SANA lab is focused on early social and affective development of children with developmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder. The lab’s interdisciplinary and collaborative research relies on the integration of cutting edge clinical behavioral, neurophysiological, and imaging data in service of improving the lives of children living with complex developmental disorders.
