The Autism Program at the Child Study Center, an interdisciplinary group of clinicians and scholars and one of the leading research centers in the world, offers a full-day review of current research and best clinical practices in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). We highlight our new NIH-funded Autism Center of Excellence (ACE) project Understanding Neurodevelopment in Autism, including studies of prenatal and neonatal biomarkers of autism, cellular mechanisms underlying the development of autism, sex differences in brain connectivity, and efficacy of a new intervention protocol for toddlers at high risk for autism. We also present our latest work on genetics, biomarkers, early communication, and diagnosis of ASD. This Symposium is free of charge and is open to the scientific and clinical community, with students, postdocs, and trainees at all levels welcome. Click here to register.
