Samit Shah, MD, PhD, assistant professor and director of the VA Connecticut Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, was appointed to serve on the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) Scientific Oversight Committee. Shah will provide guidance on SCAI’s strategic scientific activities, including the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, SCAI Advanced Training Statement on Interventional Cardiology.
Shah completed his internship and residency training at Yale where he was recognized by the Internal Medicine Residency Program for Excellence in Outpatient Care. Shah joined the Yale faculty in 2019 after fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. Shah also serves as an editorial board member for the Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (JSCAI).
