Matthew Ballenberger

Matthew grew up in Albany, New York and attended college at the State University of New York at Albany, where he earned his B.S. in Biology and Psychology. He then completed medical school at St. George’s University and completed residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He is very excited to be joining the Yale family to continue his training in sleep medicine. Outside of the hospital, Matthew enjoys hiking, kayaking, running, and trying new breweries.
