Dr. Changwan Ryu have been awarded the Recognition of Early Academic Achievement (REAAch) Award from the Assembly of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology (RCMB) of the American Thoracic Society. This recognition is awarded to Early Stage investigators (ESI) in the Instructor to Assistant Professor rank who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to develop a productive academic career with focus on areas covered by the RCMB Assembly. The goals of this award are to motivate junior investigators participate in RCMB Assembly activities, retain young scientists in RCMB-focused academic pathways, increase visibility for young investigators, and augment their networking capability.
