Learning Objectives
This course will enable participants to:
- Conduct the detailed workup needed to properly classify which form of PH a given patient may have
- Implement the data supporting the use of the 10 PAH specific therapies currently available
- Recognize the unique clinical and cardiac features of Systemic Sclerosis Associated Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
- Discuss the physiologic stresses of pregnancy that make child delivery a grave risk for pregnant patients with PH
- Review the treatment approach for patients in the Intensive Care Unit suffering from right heart failure from severe PH
