Internal Medicine, Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Present: "Inaugural Yale Sleep Symposium: State-of-the-Art Clinical Sleep Medicine"

This course is designed to help providers recognize and understand the implications of common sleep disorders across various groups including children. The course will discuss most up-to-date diagnostic and therapeutic advances in sleep medicine. It will explore effective strategies to improve treatment adherence to positive airway pressure therapy in sleep-breathing disorders. It will discuss behavioral and medical therapies for various circadian and insomnia related sleep disorders. Providers will learn about the changing landscape of sleep medicine in today’s healthcare system and gain insight about what the future holds for sleep and how it relates to their medical practice.
