The Yale Program in Addiction Medicine is pleased to welcome Henry (Klar) Yaggi, MD, MPH, as speaker for Addiction Medicine Rounds on April 14th, 2022.

Title: Opioid Use Disorder, Sleep Deficiency and Ventilatory Control: Bidirectional Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets

Learning Objectives:

  1. Review the data for sleep deficiency accompanying OUD across the trajectory of this addiction.
  2. Discuss the bidirectional mechanism between sleep deficiency and OUD.
  3. Consider novel behavioral, pharmacologic, and positive airway pressure treatments targeting sleep deficiency to improve OUD outcomes.

Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
