Title: Opioid Use Disorder, Sleep Deficiency and Ventilatory Control: Bidirectional Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets
Learning Objectives:
- Review the data for sleep deficiency accompanying OUD across the trajectory of this addiction.
- Discuss the bidirectional mechanism between sleep deficiency and OUD.
- Consider novel behavioral, pharmacologic, and positive airway pressure treatments targeting sleep deficiency to improve OUD outcomes.
