Yale Nephrology is committed to training our fellows to be leaders in whatever career path they choose.
These endeavors may include pursing research, educating others as a clinician, or working as a physician in the community. While many of our graduates stay connected with traditional academic institutions as clinician educators or researchers, some have branched out into interventional nephrology, critical care, industry, or international health. Whatever your career path interests are, we are committed to helping you achieve those goals through close mentoring.
Yale University offers a variety of opportunities for advanced degree training (Master’s degrees or PhD programs), and Yale New Haven Hospital extends further subspecialty training if desired. We have a large network of former fellows spanning the country who are very helpful in job searches and advice when the time comes.
