SEICHE Center Annual Student Research Symposium on Incarceration and Health
On August 27th, 1-3 PM ET, the SEICHE Center for Health and Justice will host its inaugural Annual Student Research Symposium on Incarceration and Health. The event will highlight the work of SEICHE Center student researchers, which ranges from archival research on the history of pandemics within prisons and jails to qualitative research on the health impacts of structural barriers to homelessness services to the impacts of incarceration on sleep health. The event will consist of multiple, short presentations with each followed by time for questions from the audience. We invite academic researchers, students and learners, and community partners to join us and learn more about the current work our students are involved in.
