Primary research interests are concentrated specifically in women’s health with emphasis on the development of evidence based interventions for the management of chronic pain. Current research examines a reciprocal peer support pain self-management intervention for women Veterans. Additional interests include technology based interventions for pain and the examination of gender differences in pain and pain treatment.
