Clinical Neurosciences Imaging Center (CNIC)

The Yale Clinical Neuroscience Imaging Center (CNIC) provides an integrated core for collaborative research on disorders of the nervous system. We use the latest powerful neuroimaging tools to investigate:

  • Movement disorders
  • Brain tumors
  • Dementia
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Stroke
  • Developmental and neurodegenerative disease

CNIC promotes collaborative disease-oriented research using state-of-the-art imaging facilities at the Yale Magnetic Resonance Research Center, Yale Positron Emission Tomography Center, and Yale New Haven Hospital.

Our core CNIC research labs and faculty are dedicated to improving care for nervous system disorders through cutting-edge research as well as educational events.

Our laboratories use the latest cutting-edge neuroimaging methods to investigate a wide range of nervous system disorders using techniques spanning levels from single molecules and neurons to networks including the entire brain and spinal cord.
