John Spertus, MD, MPH, will speak at the virtual VAMOS Research Meeting on Tuesday, April 18, 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. via Zoom. Spertus is a nationally recognized expert on the measurement of quality of care and health status in cardiovascular disease.
The event will focus on, “Implementing Patient-Reported Outcomes in Clinical Care: The Final Frontier.” This conversation is central to medical research and improving patient care and outcomes.
Spertus is a professor of medicine and Daniel J. Lauer, M.D., Chair in Metabolism and Vascular Disease Research at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He currently serves as the clinical director of Outcomes Research at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute (MAHI).
