Biography

Dr. Krasimira Rozenova, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Anatomic Pathology at Yale University, specializing in hematopathology and molecular diagnostic pathology. Dr. Rozenova earned her PhD from the University of Kentucky, focusing on cell signaling and inflammation, and obtained her medical degree from St. George's University. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Mayo Clinic, followed by fellowship training in hematopathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and in molecular genetic pathology at Yale. Dr. Rozenova’s primary research interests include lymphoma and the application of short tandem repeat (STR) testing in pathology for both diagnostic and quality assurance purposes. She has presented her work at national and international meetings and co-authored multiple manuscripts in her field. At Yale, Dr. Rozenova is deeply involved in clinical responsibilities, teaching, and mentorship, actively contributing to the education of pathology residents and fellows.
