Dr. Nikhil Chawla completed his Medical Education Fellowship from Yale on May 19, 2016. The Medical Education Fellowship, which is offered through Yale Teaching and Learning Center, provides the graduates with an in depth knowledge of diverse learning and teaching methodology. As part of the fellowship, the graduates have to prepare an academic project to improve medical learning in their respective fields. Dr Chawla's project involved the introduction, implementation and assessment of an Ultrasound curriculum into the residency training. The one year course allows educators from different specialties to come together and develop a broader understanding of the challenges of medical education and how to address them.
