MD Class of 1973 Inducted into the Kushlan Society

The class of 1973 celebrated their 50th year since graduation, on June 3, 2023 . The class was inducted into the Kushlan Society, a tradition started in 2012 and named after Samuel Kushlan, MD '35, a mentor and role model for generations of physicians who trained at Yale.

- 02:20Now we need to move on to our to
- 02:22the last part of our meeting here.
- 02:25Which is the induction of
- 02:27the Kushlin Society members.
- 02:29The Kushlin Society honors Dr.
- 02:31Samuel Kushlin,
- 02:32who was a member of the Yale faculty
- 02:36for many years and who died in
- 02:39nine in 2010 at the age of 98.
- 02:42So it it honors all of you who
- 02:45have served served in medicine
- 02:48for 50 years since graduation.
- 02:51And our role models for the generations
- 02:53to come, as Doctor Cushman was.
- 02:57So we're going to this year
- 02:59induct the class of 1973.
- 03:01But before we do,
- 03:03are there any people here who
- 03:05graduated in 1972 or before and
- 03:08are already members of the society?
- 03:10Well,

- 03:21glad that you're back and
