Teaching and Learning Center
Our mission is to foster excellence in education at the Yale School of Medicine. We achieve this through service to the learning community by providing expertise and innovation in educator development, assessment, learning technologies, and curriculum design.
Medical Education Discussion Group (MEDG) Series
The MEDG is a free monthly series of interactive, informal sessions on timely topics in medical education by both visitors and Yale faculty. The facilitator generally gives a brief introductory presentation, which leads to questions and answers and group discussion. All faculty and staff at Yale School of Medicine who are involved in medical education are encouraged to join us. CME credit is offered to attendees of these sessions.
Special Events in Medical Education
Similar to our MEDG sessions, Special Events are open to all faculty and staff at Yale School of Medicine and the format is interactive and informal. The facilitator is typically a visitor to Yale who is specially invited to share their expertise in medical education. These sessions are scheduled on an ad-hoc basis and CME credit is offered to attendees.
