Yale Continuing Medical Education (CME) has many upcoming sessions, but wants to highlight three exciting courses this spring, so that those interested can save the dates.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: Hot Topics and New Paradigms in COPD

Target Audience:

This program is designed for practicing pulmonologists, pulmonary/critical care/sleep fellows, primary care providers, nurses, advanced practice providers, and other trainees or healthcare professionals (such as respiratory therapists or physiotherapists) interested in and involved with the care of individuals with COPD.

This hybrid one-day CME course is designed to address existing professional practice gaps by expanding healthcare professionals’ knowledge of the state-of-the-art evidence-based care of individuals with COPD. The enhanced knowledge gained should help to improve competence, and performance in providing care, and by virtue of this, should also help to improve patients’ outcomes.

This day long 4th Yale Rheumatology Symposium will consider "New directions in the Management of Rheumatic Diseases." We will consider how improvements in understanding of disease pathogenesis advances treatment options. We will invite internationally recognized experts to discuss multiple rheumatic diseases, important in clinical rheumatology.

Yale Vascular Medicine Outcomes (VAMOS) Conference: New Horizons- Integrated Cardiovascular Care of the Future

This two-day symposium will bring together national and international interdisciplinary thought leaders and experts in cardiovascular care, adopting a multi-stakeholder perspective in a platform that aims to challenge the current status quo in the way cardiovascular care is delivered, with a heavy emphasis on highly technological care, as opposed to whole-person care.
