Reference Services Team

  • Vice Chair and Director of Pathology Reference Services

    Dr. Angelique W. Levi is currently Associate Professor, Vice Chair and Director of Pathology Reference Services, and CLIA Laboratory Medical Director in the Department of Pathology at Yale University School of Medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Union College with honors from the Biology Society. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, Rochester, NY, and was awarded the Medical School Dean’s research scholarship and the Hawkins Pathology Award from the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She subsequently received her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology followed by fellowship training in Cytopathology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Additionally, during her training at Johns Hopkins she developed subspecialty expertise in genitourinary pathology. She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology and is an attending pathologist in genitourinary pathology, thoracic pathology, and the cytopathology services at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Levi presents regularly at the Smilow/Yale Cancer Center Prostate Tumor Board and the Head and Neck Tumor Board, and Co-directs the Multidisciplinary Gynecologic Colposcopy Correlation Conference. Dr. Levi is a clinical investigator in the Clinician Educator track. Her research interests are primarily in the areas of gynecologic cytology and prostate pathology.
  • Director, Business Development

    Stephanie joined Yale Pathology as a Physician Liaison in 2016, managing client relationships and promoting pathology services within the region. In her current role, Stephanie works closely with department leadership and the reference services team to provide strategic direction for business expansion and growth regionally, nationally and globally. Previously, as a Marketing Coordinator for Yale New Haven Health, Stephanie worked to develop and implement a marketing brand campaign for the community physician practice, which included a new website and physician referral call center. Stephanie has worked in healthcare marketing, physician relations and strategic business development for more than fifteen years.
  • Director, Reference Services Clinical Operations

    Kevin joined Yale Pathology in 1992 as a staff cytotechnologist and has been with the Reference Services Team since its inception in 1998. In his current role as Director of Clinical Operations, Kevin manages the day to day operations in the clinical labs. Additionally, he provides strategic direction on all lab expansion. He has managed several levels of outreach expansion and has streamlined lab activities to be able to accommodate the outreach client growth over the years. Attending National and International Conferences, Kevin plays a role in educating prospective clients on our expertise and clinical offerings in an effort to establish new client relationships. Kevin values the one-to-one customer relations, which Yale Pathology Labs is known for. Kevin brings his clinical knowledge of lab operations to the team to be able to make the flow of additional work more manageable for Yale Pathology Labs.
  • Reference Services Laboratory Program Coordinator

    Kyle has been with Yale Pathology for nearly 2 decades. In 2003, he began in the Cytology lab as a member of the processing team. As the lab has gone through several waves of expansion, Kyle’s role has grown right along with it. In 2014, Kyle joined the reference services team where he has assisted with various projects, including managing and coordinating all logistics for the national and international medical sub-specialty conferences that YPL attends. In his current role, as Reference Services Program Support Coordinator, Kyle continues to provide conference coordination, provides day-to-day operational support for the outreach program, as well as interfacing with clients to provide customer service support as needed.
