Computational Model of Rhythmic Burst Firing in Single Thalamocortical Neurons

This is an example of a real thalamocortical neuron generating rhythmic low threshold Ca2+ spikes and the computational model of such. The computational model allows one to examine the possible amplitude and time course (and influence) of each of the different ionic currents present in the cell.
