Research Summary
1. Dr. Dunne's translational research focuses on syphilis. Progress in syphilis eradication has been hampered by lack of an effective murine model. Her current work is centered on developing such a model.
2. Dr. Dunne's clinical research is in the area of HIV clinical trials. She is an investigator involved in a number of trials managed through Yale's HIV Clinical Trials group that evaluate new drug efficacy, antiretroviral drug combinations, and other issues around optimal treatment for HIV-infected patients.
