Krishna Jhaveri

I am a rising Junior who is looking to pursue a career in the medical field. I have recently started my own Red Cross Club at my school and have taken lead as President of Amnesty International, an advocacy club at my school. I have also earned the position as Vice President of HOSA, a club for pre-med students, to deepen my interest in the medical field. I volunteer at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut to serve the healthcare workers in my community. In the next year, I plan to become a certified nursing assistant through my school and work as a CNA in my community.

About my YCCI Internship

The YCCI internship was one of the most interesting opportunities I have pursued. I truly value the opportunity to meet and talk with such inspirational and successful individuals. Through this internship, I was introduced to the clinical aspect of the medical field. I really enjoyed learning about the clinical trial process and hearing from experts in the field. I hope to continue my relationship with YCCI and pursue other internships like this!

For Students Considering a YCCI Internship

For new interns, I suggest that you take notes on every presenter you hear from and fully take in the valuable information. Additionally, be sure to make friends and create strong connections within the Yale community.
