Policies and Training

• Access to the laboratory is restricted to authorized and trained users.
• Users should see James Murphy for ID card authorization.
• Users are also responsible for making the room inaccessible to non-authorized individuals when they depart the laboratory.
• Users are required to be signed in to the online scheduler, schedulebook.com, prior to using equipment.

Researchers interested in using the equipment provided in the X-ray core laboratory are required to attend one-on-one training before independent use. Users are expected to have completed safety training as required by Yale OEHS. Use of the X-ray generator also requires XRD training from Yale OEHS and the usage of a dosimetry badge and ring.
