Undergraduate Research Fellowship

Since 2015, Women’s Health Research at Yale has provided undergraduate students opportunities to explore women’s health and the influence of sex on health through scientific research with experts in a variety of fields.

Through an undergraduate fellowship students have received:

  • An interactive seminar on the science of women’s health
  • Opportunities for
    • Mentored experience in scientific research
    • Working with faculty on integrating sex differences into the medical school curriculum
    • Shadowing active clinicians
    • Developing communication skills in sharing scientific developments with various audiences

Enriching Medical School Curriculum

Women’s Health Research at Yale’s education efforts also include integrating women’s health and sex differences into Yale Medical School’s 18-month pre-clinical curriculum.
