Why Yale? Yale is a balanced program – I found great surgical training, mentors, and co-residents in a place with a great quality of life.
Why New Haven? New Haven grew on me. I, as many are, was uncertain at first of how living in New Haven would be after moving from New York City. But, it has all the amenities of a big city with a small town feel.
Random fact: I skipped kindergarten.
