Meet the Clinical Experts
Yale is where world-renowned experts, educators, resources, and innovational opportunities converge.
The Yale Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation Sports Medicine Fellowship is a one-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship that focuses on the development of deep medical knowledge as well as the patient care skills and surgical expertise applicable to the subspecialty of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Subspecialty, clinical, surgical, and didactic education will concentrate on the understanding, prevention, and treatment of injuries that occur in active patients of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
As a fellow, you will work with patients in several ambulatory clinic sites across the Yale New Haven Health System and operate at Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael’s Campus, McGivney Advanced Surgery Center, and Greenwich Hospital.
Having the resources of an academic medical center allows for a high level of tertiary care. Complex and revision cases are routinely referred to a facility like ours, which will allow you to gain valuable, unique experience managing complicated cases.
The Yale Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation Sports Medicine Fellowship is ACGME-accredited, which means we guarantee the highest possible standards for both institution-wide and program-specific requirements for the training that we provide.
