Following the addition of many new trainees, staff, and returning clinicians in June and July, the Yale Child Study Center continues to welcome new community members this summer. All new faculty, staff, and trainees are invited to share their bios upon joining the YCSC, and those that follow were submitted earlier this month. Welcome, everyone!
Hailing Ding: After graduating from Wellesley College with a bachelor’s in psychology, Ding joined the YAY Lab as a postgraduate associate where she will be studying how brain mechanisms in youth are related to their irritability. At Wellesley, she was involved in research on Chinese American families’ experiences as well as the relation between thought diversity and friendship quality. Her research interests are in how cultural factors impact youth well-being.
Prathyusha Gowri Srinivasan: Prior to joining the YCSC as a developmental psychopathology and social neuroscience fellow in the Social and Affective Neuroscience of Autism (SANA) program, Srinivasan earned her bachelor’s in neuroscience from Belmont University in 2023.
Bridget Walicki: Prior to graduating with high honors from Lehigh University and receiving a bachelor’s in behavioral neuroscience in 2022 and M.Eng. in healthcare systems engineering in 2023, Walicki worked as a research assistant in Dr. Nancy Carlisle’s Memory and Attention Lab. She also served as a technology, research, and communication fellow. She recently joined the YCSC as a Sara S. Sparrow Fellow in the clinical neuroscience of autism in the McPartland Lab.
