Medical Student Programs

Yale School of Medicine students can choose from the programs below to supplement their studies.
Our goal within the Biopsychosocial Approach to Health Clerkship is to better equip students to meet the challenges of modern health care in any field they choose.
The Clinical Skills Course spans the first eighteen months of school for all medical students. Students begin to develop and refine their clinical skills, the essential elements of “doctoring” that physicians use during patient encounters.
Yale School of Medicine has developed and implemented successful educational activities to enhance end-of-life and palliative care curriculum. Our focus is integration of end-of-life and palliative care education into the curriculum over the four years of medical school.
The Wednesday Evening Clinic is a student-run longitudinal primary care clinic in Yale's Primary Care Center that has been in operation for over 50 years. It provides primary care services to diverse members of our New Haven community.
