Trainees and Faculty Recognized at 2023 Primary Care Residency Graduation

The Yale Department of Internal Medicine's Primary Care Residency Program recognized residents, trainees, faculty, and staff during its graduation on June 5, 2023. The following awards were presented:

Rosenbaum Primary Care Recognition Award: Maisie Orsillo, DO and Zina Huxley-Reicher, MD

John W. Bracket Award for Resident Teacher: Stephen Wang, MD, MPH

Gary Vernon Ralph Memorial “Humanism in Medicine” Award: Anita Vasudevan, MD

Yogesh Khanal Global Health Leadership Award: Timothy DeVita, MD and Koeun Choi, MD

Fellow of the Year: Maxwell Eder, MD

Support Staff Recognition Award: Porsha Sidbury

Yale Primary Care Core Faculty Teaching Award: Christine Krueger, MS, MD

Edwin C. Cadman Teacher of the Year for YNHH-based Faculty: Christopher Erb, MD, PhD

George Thornton Community Teacher of the Year Award: Sujata Prasad, MD

Marcella Nunez Smith Award: George Agyapong, MD, MS

Stephen J. Huot Award: Dana Dunne, MD, MHS
