Bio
Carlos Fernandez-Hernando, PhD, studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid. From 1999 to 2004, he performed his PhD with Prof. Miguel Angel Lasuncion at Hospital Ramon y Cajal (Madrid). He did his postdoctoral training with Prof. William Sessa at Yale University (2005-2009). Then, Carlos started his laboratory in the Department of Medicine at NYU. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Anthony N. Brady Professor of Comparative Medicine and of Pathology and Director of the Vascular Biology & Therapeutics Program.
