Ethan Burns

Ethan is a PhD student in the Department of Immunobiology. He is originally from the Philadelphia area, and he received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2024. During his undergraduate training, he worked in the lab of Mike Betts studying human T cell responses to viral infections and vaccines. He is now in the lab of Dr. David Braun where he studies T cells in the context of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and immunotherapy. Broadly speaking, he is interested in studying human T cell biology using a combination of wet and dry lab methods.
