Research Summary
Dr. Damast’s research is focused on the use of modern radiotherapeutic modalities including image-guided intensity-modulated radiation therapy and image-guided high-dose-rate brachytherapy for women with gynecologic malignancies. She studies how these therapies are integrated into management and how they impact outcomes of women. She has a particular interest in patient-centered outcomes, quality of life, vaginal health and sexual functioning.
