Research Summary
My research interests lie in three primary areas: (1) The neuroscience of trauma related psychopathology and posttraumatic stress disorder (2) Translational research of posttraumatic stress disorder (3) Improving the treatment of trauma related psychopathology. My current work is focused, primarily, on the efficacy of treatment for posttraumatic stress disorder and the failure of many to experience significant improvement at the course of treatment; Multimodal PET-fMRI approach to better understand trauma related psychopathology and, use of psychedelics to improve PTSD treatment.
