Faculty Retreat
The Department of Dermatology faculty retreat took place on May 29 in the Klein Biology Tower. In addition to enjoying lunch, games, refreshments, and massages, faculty heard presentations by Brian Ferguson, Founder of Arena Labs, and Benjamin Doolittle, MD, MDiv, a practicing physician and minister. With Dr. Doolittle, faculty read and discussed a John Stone poem, Gaudeamus igitur. Brian Ferguson discussed how physicians can flourish, with techniques that other high-stress professions (like the NAVY SEALs) are taught during their training.
