The Yale Department of Dermatology is committed to educating the next generation of leaders in dermatology. We provide students at all levels with a rigorous yet nurturing learning environment, as well as with myriad opportunities for research, clinical work, mentorship, and career development. Our goal is to train future dermatologists who are experts in the field and who lead with compassion for the community that we serve.
Yale Dermatology Medical Student Education Yale Dermatology Residency The Dermatology Residency Program provides a comprehensive training experience in the clinical practice of dermatology, ample opportunities for mentored clinical and research projects, and a special training track in investigative dermatology funded by the NIH. Our program is designed for the physician who aspires to a career in academic dermatology – as a clinician educator, clinical scholar, or physician-scientist – and emphasizes those elements of the discipline relevant to this career goal.
Fellowships The Department of Dermatology offers four distinct fellowship programs, including a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatolgy, the Mohs Surgery Fellowship, a fellowship in Dermatopathology, and an NIH Training Grant.
