Yupeng Cao

Yupeng Cao is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at the Yale School of Medicine, supervised by Dr. Hua Xu. Previously, he received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the Provost Doctoral Fellowship and Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award. His research is focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Multimodal Learning, and Trustworthy AI, with applications in different domains. His recent research work is centered on building agentic workflows for Medicine and Healthcare.
